Payroll Deduction Grants
Berea City School District employees generously contribute money to the Payroll Deduction Grant fund through small, elective donations-- usually one or two dollars-- from each paycheck. Staff members also participate in the selection of grant recipients.
Since its inception, The Foundation has received more than $90,000 via the Payroll Deduction Program. These grants can be awarded to staff or students.
Previous grants to staff members have helped to fund enriching projects like classroom chick hatching, Coe Lake Outdoor Science Education, Garden Club, and the 40 Reader Challenge. These grants can also be awarded to students to fund educational opportunities for which no other District funds or programs are available.
Payroll Deduction Grant Applications are available twice a year in September and March.
Any Berea City School District employee may contribute to our Payroll Deduction Grant fund!
To enroll in the Payroll Deduction Grant contribution program, please fill out our Payroll Deduction contribution form and mail it to the Payroll Department.
