The Education Foundation Grant Programs
The Education Foundation offer support to the Berea City School District through our various Grant programs.
Enrichment Grants are awarded to staff members to fund projects that augment the regular curriculum. These projects are available for
during school, before or after regular school hours, or in the summer. Since its inception, The Foundation has awarded more than $170,000 in enrichment grants.

Application deadline for all Enrichment Grants is in May.
Payroll Deduction Grants
This program offers school district employees a chance to voluntarily contribute. Since its inception, The Foundation has received more than $80,000 via the Payroll Deduction Program. These grants are awarded to staff and students.
Applications for Payroll Deduction grants are available twice a year. Application deadlines are in March and September, annually.
Beginning Teachers Grants
Established by Susan and Allyn Adams in 2011 the Beginning Teachers Grant was developed to help new teaching staff in the Berea School District. Teachers often spend their own funds to prepare classrooms and for new staff, this is especially true.
Each fall, newly hired teachers receive a check for $200 from the Beginning Teachers fund to help defray the costs of preparing their classroom.
