Brian Adkins Scholarship
Reason established:
This is a perpetual scholarship that was established to honor the memory of Brian Adkins. Brian was a 1981 graduate of Berea High School, and a very successful Berea businessman. Brian was involved in athletics in high school, displayed superior leadership skills, established many positive and lasting relationships with his classmates, and displayed a great sense of humor. Brian was an extremely generous person who always helped others, and believed in comforting those who were less fortunate than he was.
The first scholarship was awarded in May of 2007.

The Brian Adkins Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior at Berea-Midpark High School who
- has displayed a combination of some of the following qualities: a passion for athletics, unique leadership skills, generosity and the desire to help others, outgoing personality
- has overcome difficult circumstances, and
- shows financial need.
