Enrichment Grants
These funds support projects suggested by staff members. The programs supplement the regular curriculum and can be offered during school, before or after regular school hours, or in the summer.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES:
1. Priority in awarding grants will be given to proposals that impact large groups of students and support new enrichment activities. Please note that only two grants for the same program and from the same group may be funded. Grants funds are not to cover food for events and commodities like T-shirts that can be purchased by participants; program materials are acceptable.
2. Funds cannot be used to supplant general operating funds which are annually allocated to the schools by the district. Please be advised, The Education Foundation does not fund technology equipment or software. In addition, projects requiring future maintenance may not be funded.
3. Awards will be given based upon the merit of the application. The review committee reserves the right to interview the primary contact person for clarification.
4. The review committee will ultimately determine which of the grants the applicant is eligible to receive but will consider the applicants selection(s) in their decision.
5. After approval of the grant, funds will be transferred to a 019 account in the treasurer’s office and are able to be accessed by the building’s financial secretary.
6. At the conclusion of the project the grant recipient must submit a summary of the project, photographs, and a detailed fiscal accounting including copies of receipts for all purchases to be eligible for future applications.
