Background: This Learning for Life Scholarship is being established to honor the legacy of Theresa F. Hahn. Theresa exemplified the very essence of inspirational teaching that extended far beyond the classroom walls. Theresa Hahn’s unwavering dedication to fostering a love of learning, coupled with her teaching methods and genuine care for her students, created a lasting impact on countless lives. More than just imparting knowledge, Theresa Hahn nurtured a spirit of kindness and compassion in her students. Her consummate support and genuine care created a safe space for learning and growth. This scholarship honors those qualities, seeking students who emulate Ms. Hahn’s strength of character and dedication to fostering a positive learning environment to extend their lifelong learning.
Criteria: -A high school student pursuing a degree in education preferably in the field of Mathematics, Computer Science or Science.
-A student who has demonstrated kindness and compassion through service and leadership in the school and community.
-A student who has overcome adversity and challenged the norms to let their light shine on others.
-A student who has demonstrated high moral character.
-A student who has demonstrated their willingness to help others.
