Maya McFetridge Memorial Scholarship ​

Reason established:
Maya McFetridge, a 2021 Berea-Midpark graduate, was shot and killed during her first few weeks at Akron University. She was pursuing a degree in art on a full scholarship. Berea Midpark was near and dear to her heart; she donated paintings to her teachers, administrators, and counselors that inspired her to attend college.

This scholarship was established in 2023 by Maya's family to honor her memory. 

Criteria:
The Maya McFetridge Memorial Scholarship is to be awarded to an outstanding Berea-Midpark senior who is pursuing a degree in art.
