A Message from the Chair
The Education Foundation continues to move forward with new ways to fund opportunities for our students in the Berea Schools. Our first Big Give Day was a resounding success! Thanks to all of you who participated and to Berea Kiwanis for being a matching sponsor. We raised $3,880 in just over one day- almost double our goal of $2,018. Dan Karp, Andi Whitaker and the Marketing Committee put together a great campaign that clearly inspired you to donate!
What else is new at the Education Foundation? We regretfully accepted the resignation of trustee Roz Painter-Goffi but were pleased to welcome Cori Farris as our School Board trustee.
As always, students benefited from a variety of enrichment experiences made possible by grants to BCSD staff. You make these opportunities possible through your generous support of the Education Foundation and I truly appreciate your
confidence in our Board of Trustees and your belief in our mission.
