The Sue Ann Thayer Kratzer Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2018 to honor the memory of Sue Ann Thayer Kratzer.
SueAnn was a 1973 graduate of Berea High School. She was very involved in swimming, was an Aquateen at Berea High School, taught swim lessons and lifeguarded in the community. She had a successful career in the garment business, first as a buyer at May Company, Gold Circle, Bullocks, and Millers Outpost, then transitioned to sales and later became Vice President of Sales for RAJ SWIMWEAR. SueAnn was fiercely loyal and developed an extensive circle of close friends from grade school through college.

- Member of the Berea Midpark Swim Team
- Has shown a strong work ethic and been a leader and contributor to his or her team.
- Is academically successful
- Has demonstrated financial need
- Preference given to student planning business degree
